When you view the world through a child's perspective, your bond with siblings is unique compared to any other relationship. There's an unspoken understanding that only siblings share, and no one else can truly experience this connection unless they are also siblings. However, if a brother or sister passes away while they are young, and the surviving children are still essentially children, they experience a mix of disconnection and connection. This feeling never truly fades. They often say they sense their brother or sister's presence around them or hear them speaking. This remains very real to them, yet it is also tinged with sadness. Children tend to accept this connection more readily than adults, likely due to their creative imagination and sense of ongoing connection.
